Less than 48hrs away from running my 2nd FULL Marathon and, as to be expected, anxiety is actively pulsating through my veins right now. I find myself consciously pausing from time to time, taking in deep breaths, and I keep visualizing the details of the course over and over in my head.
I am so pumped for this, you have no idea! To get fully amped, I am currently in hard core prep-mode, listening to uplifting trance, vetting my shuffle playlist, and running through my pre-race checklist in my head. In a few hours I’ll be heading down to the Marathon Expo and will pick up my race bib + packet, making all of this that much more real.
